Pentium 166 MMX, 16MB RAM, S3 Virge 4MB. I remember being able to play 3DFX games with that since games were known to confuse my VGA to support Glide, and run (of course, very slowly and with visual artifacts). Now I wonder what was the technical reason for that, time to Google.

First game bought was MDK.

I am much older than that though :) Just got my PC a bit late.
My first PC was IBM Personal Computer 330, 100Mhz and it has windows 95. My first game was Duke Nukem 3d.
I'm a latecomer, I didn't own a PC till I was past 30 and this century had already begun. It was a second-hand Pentium II with a 3GB HDD that used to be my mother's computer before me.

Age of Empires was the first game I remember playing on it.

As for all the home computers mentioned in this topic, my dad had an Acorn BBC in the eighties that I played Starship Command on as the first computer game I ever played. Or maybe the real first one was a text adventure game, I think it was The Hobbit in which you had to type commands and the game was just text, but I didn't manage to get out of the first room (and of course there was no Internet back then to search for walkthroughs).
Commodore 64. I think I got several games withi it. I don't remember all of them but Bruce Lee, Impossible Mission and Zorro were among them
First computer was a BBC Micro Model B (2 MHz CPU, 32 kB RAM) - the first game I played on it was Cylon Attack, it came on a demo floppy.

First PC was a 386 that someone at my Dad's work sold in a clear-out - the first game I played on it was Doom.

My computers were Commodores mostly, so my first PC came rather late. After the C128 and the Amiga 600, I got my first PC running Windows 98 in 1998 or 1999. The first game I bought was of course the thing that my Amiga wouldn't play... Monkey Island 3.

I have literally no idea what the first C128 game I played was. My first Amiga game was, of course, TSoMI. :p
