Or games your unable to finish because they are too hard? A boss you can't beat? Too much of a grind?

The easy answer would be to just not worry about it.

But it's a little anticlimactic, it's like turning off a movie right before the end when the hero is about to finish off the bad guy. And they sit on my not finished list always annoying me.

Snatcher, can't finish the last gunfight. Black and White, the last island is a huge grind. Ninja Gaiden 2, last boss is too hard (Three actually) Arma 2, last Senario is nearly a impossible waste of time. The Movies, saw the credits, but couldn't be bothered to get a five star studio because it involves a lame romance grind mechanic.

Which games can't you finish? What do you do about it? Watch it on youtube?... Cheat? Just not worry about it? Tell me the answer good gamers to this frustrating issue.

One option, of course, is to cheat. That can solve difficulty problems.

Another is to find a mod that fixes the issue you have.

Or, you could see if the game has any major exploits and use them. (Sometimes even a minor exploit might be enough.)

Note that, if you cheat, I suggest finding an interesting way of doing so rather than just jacking up your stats; it's more fun that way.
I am a gamer.
Bug or no bug. Cheat or no cheat.
By hook or by crook I will finish that game.

I don't think cheating is even an option for Snatcher and Ninja Gaiden 2 on consoles. I don't think god mode would even help with Arma 2 mission. I've read someone modified the time limit, but I guess you'd have to modify the mission parameters or something.

I like that comment very much.

I think there are few games which screw you when you use a trainer or cheat.
I once tried a trainer in one of the Tomb Raider games.
On applying one hit kill the boss never dies.
I had to play that level fairly. :P
Also I remember one of old games in which you are on an island fighting end boss.
If you use god mode the boss gets god mode too. :/
I keep a saved game just for preservation. And uninstall for a later use. Or completely forget for years, until i get a new system. Then i put it there again anew and beat it. That is the case in my collection, at least...

For Ninja Gaiden 2, couldn't you just plug the cartridge into a Game Genie and use a code for infinite health or something?

I remember doing that with X-Men Origins Wolverine.
I do what I do with all media I no longer enjoy, I say "eff it".
Of course that mentality probably doesn't help me in life ;)

I'm not sure if I've ever even used a Game Genie before, or know where to get one or know how to plug it into an Xbox360... but that's an option.

Luckily I'm a bit persistent. But I mostly just focus on stuff that doesn't really help, so I'm just as screwed. ^^

Um...Ninja Gaiden 2 is a NES game. You plug the Ninja Gaiden 2 cartridge into the Game Genie cartridge, and then plug that into the NES. (Note that the cover won't close with this setup.) No Xbox 360 involved at all.
If it's dificult I keep trying and flaming until I do it, it feels way better in the end than to cheat your way through, if it was impossible to do it, the developers wouldn't do it.

As for games I can't finish, Borderlands, the game makes me nauseous.

Grid Series, cause I end up getting bored or finding something else to play.

Half-Life 2, even with all the praise, I think the game is boring and didn't age well?!

Dead Island, an overrated piece of crap.

Oh, I was talking about the more recent Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox360. Game Genie might not work on that. :P
Dark Souls - Its was just so crap I couldn't be bothered after 30 mins on two occasions. I used it to create nice colors in a bonfire.

GTA4 - Dreadful. I keep it on the shelf though as a reminder never to buy anything from R* again.
Depends if I have any urge to maybe later beat it.

Total Annihilation, Core Contingency expansion pack: I stopped playing at one naval mission where the enemy just kept destroying my whole fleet long before I could reach their shores. It felt too much of luck, whether their blind long range cannons hit my fleet or not.

I decided it is not fun anymore, and most probably will not get back to the game anymore. I did take a backup of the savegame, and then uninstalled the game. Goodbye... probably.

Tie Fighter on the other hand... I'm on the very last few missions in the last expansion pack. Damn it is hard, I am still hoping to beat it at some point properly. One option would be to lower the difficulty level for that mission, but come on, that is like cheating!
