Hi All,

My wife likes games with a good story. I don't think that the genre necessarily matters so long as the story is meaningful and the game gives the player some level of direction. It doesn't need to be a hand-holding game but, shouldn't be something where a player is dropped in the middle of nowhere to figure things out with nearly no guidance at all.

I'm trying to find story-driven games that can be played co-op over LAN. Local Co-Op on a single machine is nice and all but, we'd prefer to play on our own machines but still be in the same game.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Chris

Divinity: Original Sin is a nice game for couples, assuming you both like RPGs. The story is not something amazing, but decent enough, sometimes tongue-in-cheek, certainly keeps you hooked, and the gameplay is quite good. It has LAN co-op, and I've played it over VPN as well without any significant lag.

Thank you for the recommendation, I happen to own this one already so, that is a plus!
