g2222: lol, ccbj. You put an urgency into your posts like your life depends on those updates.

Well, anyways, new downloads are coming in:

Haha this is my life. :D

There is nothing in life I treasure more than games. Currently 500 games on GOG and my Steam library just went over 200, lol.

Yup I see the patches are slowly coming.... Seems like GOG woke up. Woohoo! :)
I mean, I got 7 patches today and at least a couple yesterday, I think things are more or less normal.
Something HAS been going on -- even for Galaxy use. DLCs are taking days after actual purchase before Galaxy is replacing the "buy" button with "install". In a few cases, the offline installers were available and working before Galaxy.

The "refresh" thing doesn't affect it, either.

Wildermyth Omenroad, for example, still won't let me install it -- it still says "buy", even though I see the offline installer in my library. (Still not working.)

Wingspan's Woodlands backgrounds pack took a few days, also after offline installer was available and working. (Is now working.)

The Bloodstained character morphs also took a few days before "buy" became "install", even after the offline installers were available before that. (Is now working.)

(Windows.)

Sachys: You're forgetting GOG still need to QA those, ensure theres no DRM and make their own custom installer etc.

eric5h5: GOG does not do any of that. Not for updates.

g2222: - If you are waiting for offline installers, then you have to be little more patient. Because GOG builds those installer packages themselves and that takes extra time (+QA).

eric5h5: No, those are automated. If GOG staff did that stuff themselves, then offline installers would never appear on weekends. But they do, and sometimes within an hour of the dev doing the upload. I don't doubt that the system breaks sometimes, but nevertheless it's automated.

Sachys: Not true
It's 100% verifiably true. There are updates on weekends; go look at the info on gogdb. Just today there was an update of the offline installer for Wildermyth, then a few hours later in the evening there was another update. You really think GOG staff was staying after hours to push that update? I'm sure GOG does review the initial submission manually, but they absolutely do not review updates. They barely have the staff to handle things without having to manually review dozens of updates every day.
Wildermyth Omenroad now installs on Galaxy, all these days later (even after the offline installers). Instead of just saying "buy".
