Why do I feel like, that being from Germany highly limits the number of games, one can buy on GOG.
I know some games are on the index list, but not all of the ones I can't see the store page off are.

The Unreal Tournament games, for example, where never banned in Germany, yet I can't access their store pages. There was a time where I could see those games in the store.
What happened? Where they removed from GOG, or is it because of German law, or something?

But yeah, it's to do with German Law (though as I understand a lot of German's disagree this is the case, I'm sure someone will come along with more details before too long)

The index isn't a ban, but it causes problems for customers like here on GOG unfortunately.

It is not just of the law. If GOG wanted, they could sell the indexed games here, but an age verification system seems to be to complex for GOG to implement.

I for the life of me will never get people that despise everything about this place, refuse to buy games from it, but still hang out in here. :P

I don't see anybody who said they despise everything about GOG or don't want to buy games here any longer. Just some people who wish that GOG would implement an optional age verification which would solve the problem for 90% of the games that Germans can't buy at the moment.
